Ronin-Pentest – BRITE Project

Ronin's BRITE Project Participation and Success.

Small businesses are the backbone of our economy. They create jobs, support communities, and drive innovation. However, many small businesses lack the resources to compete with larger enterprises. If you're a small or medium-sized enterprise (SME), you know that competing in today's economy can be tough. That's where the INSPIRE https://www.briteinnovation.co.uk/inspire programme comes in. It has been created by the University of Brighton and is delivered by university experts as part of the Brighton Research Information Technology Exchange (BRITE). The BRITE project provides SMEs with the tools they need to grow, become more competitive, and ultimately succeed! “I was so proud to be accepted onto the INSPIRE 2022 programme, it’s given me such a boost in terms visibility, learning and support. When launching a new business – particularly a tech business – having peers to bounce ideas off, a formal space to work from and the benefit of being a recognised member is invaluable.” Said Ben Brown, Founder of Ronin-Pentest https://ronin-pentest.com/about.

What is the BRITE project?

The University of Brighton is a research leader in SME innovation, together they have joined forces with Plus X Innovation Hub to deliver the Brighton Research Innovation Technology https://www.briteinnovation.co.uk/ Exchange (BRITE), a one-stop shop to support SME business leaders wishing to be part of a collaborative community, innovate and grow. BRITE is available to Plus X Brighton members and is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund. The BRITE project allows SMEs to collaborate with other businesses and access facilities to bring your employees, supply chain or business clients together and understand more about how innovative practices can help your business grow

The INSPIRE Programme.

INSPIRE is a five-month one-to-one coaching programme through BRITE where SMEs learn about open innovation, develop a bespoke innovation readiness review, and action plan, and forge the right partnerships for growth. The programme is built from world leading research, and informed and shaped by SMEs just like you. Members collaborate with a dedicated coach to discover how open innovation methods can be applied used as a cost-effective tool for business growth and resilience and acquire the expertise to bring new ideas and opportunities to your business. “Our goal is to facilitate growth with our members, with dedicated support for their businesses in the shape of innovation support, coaching and strategic planning. The programme has been a huge success with our participant companies thriving in every aspect of their business.” Judith Badger, Head of Project BRITE, University of Brighton.
